Are you saying the method I linked to won't work or the method linked to in post #1? Or are you saying they both work but preview won't earlier than Xara version 9 products?

The method on Xara-Users won't work in anything older than v9. And yes the method shown in the YouTube video is out of date too.

Yes, http: needs to be added to the url that YT supply

Well, the src is not declaring either http: or https: so it's best to leave it as it is. It can then be served correctly no matter what page it's embedded on.

Thanks Pete Yeh, I was just thinking of embedding YT and getting it to appear online, not about the preview. It does say that about preview in the demo page but like I say I was thinking ahead ... that's my excuse
