Creating RSS Feed

Hey everyone, this is probably very simple but for some reason I'm not understanding how to even begin this.

I'm wanting to create monthly podcasts, which requires creating an RSS feed, but I have NO IDEA how to create an RSS feed.
Can someone help me out with a step-by-step? I'd rather not use a widget, if possible 
