    Default Hawaii Mars, Water Bomber

These giants of the air from the 40's have been guarding our forests on the west coast since the sixties. Two are left and both are to be retired soon. Based at Sproat lake a few miles from where I live.
This illustration was a learning exercise as I lost all my software when my old computer died. I've had to upgrade all my programs and do a little learning in the process. Not happy yet with the results but it'll come. Mars is 100% vector, background a mix.

    Looks great to me.
I think they could do with a few of these in Australia.

Gray that looks great, it has great drama throughout the drawing. Think its one of your best for a while, magic!

I have been a fan of your illustrations for a long time.
I love your color pallet on this. Very appropriate.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

That giant is perfect, looks absolutely real. Maybe the fire could have something minimal more, but the airplane is awesome
