I'm glad you have a solution.

The lack of Xara interest is somewhat disappointing.

Yes your right..... more worrying is the fact that the update is the problem.... so what am I missing in the update that I cannot use.

Mike, you can live without the update until the issue is addressed.

Hi Mike, im afraid Xara Support is available Monday to Friday.

Your files interesting and we will complete some tests to see if this is a problem introduced by the patch release.

I made the following modifications to your file which has prevented the problem from occurring.

    1. Utilities > Option > Grid & Ruler tab.

    - The coordinate direction from Y increases upwards to Y increases downwards.
    - The Origin (0,0 point) from -133,-133 to 0, 1272 (1272px is the height of your pages.)

    2. Utilities > Option > Page Size tab.

    - The outer margin from 755.91px to 768px
    - removed the ticks from the Document section for All pages in the document the same size and same layers on all pages in document.

I then saved the file and re-opened it and the shift no longer occurs.

Hope this helps. We will investigate this further tomorrow but from what i can tell the problems related to the outer margin and origin point values set in your original doc.
