Thanks for looking at my problem Xtom.... it was the placeholder but funny thing is it was a sliding built in widget..... why would that send it all over the place.
Anyway I have sorted out all the layers and its working fine.
What did you say about checking the page settings ...not sure what you mean .
    Thanks again

Opened it up this morning and still some things are going down and to the left..... but every time I save and open it they move a bit more...... so if I open and save say 5 times some of the content is off the page.
This is not happened before and I have used Xara for a number of years.
I cannot see why a website would need to move things every time you close and open so I think this is a bug.
I move things back and preview it and all is ok ..... save it and preview it and all is ok..... CLOSE it and open and some items have moved.
Im sick of this now as I have spent all last night sorting it out and now i'm back to square 1.

I have attached the file and if you look at the classes page and click on a class the box was saved on top of each other ....but now they have all moved left and down a bit ,
also on the home page the twitter and facebook icons keep moving down and left every time I save and open.

Mike, this is highly bizarre behaviour by any piece of software and I hope you keep copies of the files where the problem occurs and that Xara asks to see them.

I just cannot see why its happening .... its costing me loads of time ....I have to keep moving things back every time I save .
    Just hopless.
It was ok until I did the last update.
I am going back and doing the whole site again in the last version which I still have on my comp.
Really jarred off with this program now to be honest.
it cannot be any settings because I cannot see why you would need a feature that moves things after you save .
Come on Xara help sort it .

Mike, it's only been mentioned here on Friday evening and it's unreasonable to expect Xara to pounce on the post and fix this as soon as you mention it. I don't think anyone else has reported similar behaviour.

These things happen with software - probably because fallable human beings write the programs; you know the kind - like you and I.

Be patient. Walk away from the website and enjoy the sunshine.

Got to be a bug as it opens in ProX and stays as I saved it.

Well guess there is no answers ....... I will just have to go back to ProX....

And as I used the new feature of the backgrounds I will have to start over.

Guess theres no help from Xara and no one knows why its doing this ...... I have reinstalled and items still move after saving.
Re-done some of the layers and they still move everytime I save.....and in the end they are off the page.
What else can I do ....
