    Default Making Contact! The impossible Task!

    Hi there,

    I have a set of multiple issues with Xara and loading the software, using templates, widgets etc that I cannot resolve via the forum and the time involved in typing everything is taking too long.

    I am calling the number below, and of course getting 'no reps available, please submit a ticket!". Well there is no-one answering.

    I have a massive set of issues that I am desperate to sort out and need to talk to someone, who can help.

    So far I have tried:

    -Reception
    -Support
    -Accounts
    -Sales

    Not being funny, but this just isn't very good, I am even happy to sit on a premium line to get it sorted, but not a thing!
    Just looks like there is no-one in or its a 2 man crew!

    Xara is in the UK so make sure you are calling when they are there.

    Also, Xara is not a large company so they do not have a large dedicated support staff. They depend on these member forums for most of the support. And yes, it is really helpful to have someone work with you one-on-one until you resolve the problem. But it is probably not going to happen.

    Hi,

    Thanks and here is a suggestion.
    Just say you know we are a very small company and the chances are you cannot get through.
    Or even you cant get through, USE THE FORUM!
    In that way, no one would be disappointed.
    But its silly having a number and sales, a service and accounts liens and no one answering.
    Just say it as it is.
    This means expectations are met.

    Guy, where in the world are you?

    I find it hard to believe that you'd fail to get any response on any of the phone lines, even if it did take a bit of persistence.

    Is it possibly a timezone issue and you're calling at 1AM UK time kind of thing?

    I am Birmingham in the UK it was 1600 on Friday.
    Hey maybe it was me, all I know is I rang the number each time went to a different extension and then a nice male voice 'busy etc....'
    But hey....there it is.

    4PM on a Friday. You should have got an answer or call-back, but I think we can cut them some slack, don't you?

    I thought from the tone of your first post you'd been trying for days.

    I think I was put out by the fact no one was answering on any line.
    And you call when you need them, not when you don't.
    And that's the time they advertise.
    And the written word always sounds worse!
