Change Nav Bar Colors

I'm having some trouble changing the colors of the Navigation Bar in WD7 premium. I go into the Nav Bar Properties and Menu Style. I change the colors, but they don't actually change on the page, even though it shows in the Menu Style that the color is changed. Ideas?

Select Custom and then edit the color.

Update: Actually, I just tried this again but editing the color and the color should automatically change to Custom.

Try it again and see if you have any better luck.

Select the navbar, open the Color editor. Choose the theme colour to change.

sledger - I believe the question is how to change the colors for the fly out/drop down menu.

Yes I understand why this is a possibility, but post #1 was not clear enough on this therefore I focussed my answer instead on the comment "trouble changing the colors of the Navigation Bar". In this, we have both possibilities covered

I tried both of your suggestions and neither actually changed anything.

Does this happen if you create a new site? I wonder if somehow the document got corrupted.
