Problem when viewing popups layers with an iPad

I am working on a new site, gotrikke.com and using popup layers for videos and other information. Works with all browsers on PC and Mac. When I view it on an iPad, and click one of the popup botons, it freezes the page. Nothing will work after the popup is lonched until you refresh the page. It dose the same thing with or without locking layers. Any suggestions?
