Default Access violation exception at 0x156D3F60

Has anyone having a problem with FX plugins on 32 bit Designer Pro 9x?

Every time I try to use the plugins, I get "Access violation exception at 0x156D3F60" and it won't let me continue? I get this message everytime.

I have sent this to XARA support twice and has been in the Que for 2 weeks?

I have reinstalled the product several times without success!

Any help here would be appreciated... frustrated.

An Av happens when there is an attempt to read or write protected memory.
Maybe you have a bad plugin in your listing?
Try removing the plugins path from Options>>Effects & Plugins>>Setup
If this stop the Av, then you know there is a plugin which is possibly bad (even infected?)

I only use the 32 bit X9 and have had MANY crashes using plugins. I have also had crashes using some of the tools that have been in Xara a long time. (Medhi etc.)

HI, Please can you post your ticket number?

Without knowing the details of the ticket, please do initially see if the following assists you.

Note for customers with hardware that supports Data Execution Prevention:

If your hardware supports Data Execution Prevention (DEP) then please ensure the option is enabled and your xara program is added to exception list.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties
Select Advanced and click on the settings button below the subheading 'Performance'
Select the Data Execution Prevention Tab
Enable the option 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select'
    Click the Add button
Browse to the Designer Pro installation folder and double click on the DesignerPro.exe to add it to the list.
