Cheers Boy, I had time on my hands Saturday afternoon so I thought I'd make the original bot image transparent. To make the image as it is now, I had to add extra shapes with transparencies and different fill colours, using these makes a big difference if you play around with them! Excuse my non- technical term but that's what it amounted to

Regarding Post #50, Okay, Stygg, if we're talking a semi-transparent group of shapes against a black background, you might want to consider using Screen Transparency mode instead of "Mix".

Hope this is not a silly question Gary but what is Screen trans.

Sorry! "Bleach" Transparency mode; other programs call it "Screen"

Cheers for that Gary. The image I did was purely experimental, I grouped all the cubes in the yellow bot and gave the group an 80% flat, mix trans. Then I added shapes at strategic places with different fills and transparencies. I wanted to see what it would turn out like. The second bot is just a clone of the first but with the group given a dark blue fill and 40% trans. Purely all curiosity. Nothing ventured nothing gained but I did gain, use bleach on dark background
