Basic question about Generator/Flash 5

I recently purchased a book that talks about Generator objects in Flash 5. The book shows many Generator Objects in the "inspector" but I can not access Generator Objects in Flash 5. I read the book (no title mentioned) but this is still unclear to me. The question would be: Does this require Generator to be installed? I do not have Generator so I figure that is the problem.

Anyone have any insight?

Go tho the Macromedia site and download Generator Templates: http://www.macromedia.com/software/generator/download/
This will get you started.
