Yes Steve saw the series of vids on this about 3 months ago and was enthralled, watching them copy and then extrude a Jewish type candle holder. But its a bitmap, why not a vector version, something like Illy's but not as crude with the mapping as well. I did a Minion recently, in the Xara gallery, had 3D text in it, it would have been easy to do AI. Doing it in Xara I had 3 choices, --- using the 3D tool, ---doing it with a blend, --- putting a copy to the back, Ctrl+1 to join shapes, edit the join points. The later one is the way I chose to do it as I just don't like Xata's 3D tool.
