    Default PUMPKIN CARVING

Seeing as it's approaching Halloween I thought I'd start a challenge by designing a pumpkin carving.

I used the mould tool on a circle and the Alphabet Of The Magi font for the runic inscription which reads
Happy Halloween and I found the Alphabet of The Magi font on a free font download website.

It's great to see you finally producing some work that isn't psychedelic, involving beer bottles or sinclair computers.

Really pleased to see you moving on.

    Nice work.

[bit surprised that you needed four separate lines for the mouth - doing it as one line would have been easier for you!]

I had to scrap the idea for tha previous animation I was working on (it wasn't going anywhere) But I'm currently working on which is meant to have an '80s theme to it so the 8-bit style graphics'll have to be part of it.
What I'm doing is reusing some of the characters I was going to use in the one I was going to do but I've still got some of those pscyhedellic backdrops that I did with my mobile phone's camera. Any ideas on what I can do with them?

As for moving on, have you seen what I can do with Magic Music Maker Rock 4 (I know it isn't a Xara product but it's still pulblished by Magic).

I'm afraid the psychadelia, 8-bit style graphics, or the music thing just don't interest me that much and I've probably seen as much I want to of them. Sorry.

The penguin is still your best work, as far as I am concerned.

    Here's a Pumpkin, from me.
Mine is not angry of confused - just happy!

Frances might recognise some parts of the Pumpkin.

So that makes 1 confused, 1 angry and 1 happy. That's a good selection. Your pumpkin (and scenery) look great.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
