    Question New Xara Pro X9

Hey guys love the new Xara Pro X9, but did happen to notice... Is there any way to get the old style drawing back like Xara Xtreme 2? In Xara Pro X9, it seems you have to drag a line to make one, where in the older versions it was click a point move click another point and it draws a line between them, it was much easier to draw lines and bend them on the fly with the older version, or am I missing a step with the new software. thanks! Nice move by the way to 64 bit!!

The shape tool [F4] is still there on a fly-out menu :-) You can put it directly onto the side bar ... Utilities>>control bars>>Button palette

Similarly, you can add the Pen tool to a control bar. You'll find the Pen tool icon in the Button Palette.

It sounds as if your setting may be Make Line or Make Curve while you have been used to the opposite. Using the Shape Tool (formerly the Shape Editor Tool), drawing with the Make Line option creates a series a straight line segments that can be dragged into curves as you draw or afterwards.

Using the Make Curve option with the Shape Tool creates curves between each control point.
