    Default A fun Picture experiment

This was an original vector drawing job for a customer, but once I had completed the original, I decided to play around and experiment to get a sort of gold picture and frame. I don't think I got the 3d effect with shadow's quite right? but needless to say it was fun to attempt. Hope you enjoy.

Interesting effect. Was the vector drawing a bitmap trace?

Thank you Gary, no, I did try to do a bitmap trace on the original image, but found it had to much noise and unclean edges and a lot of clutter, even though I tried different settings , so had to resort to using Xara's X pro's freehand drawing tool and my Wacom tablet pen, to try and make a clean crisp vector image to work with.... although I have used the bitmap trace to great effect on other projects.

The black Image is the original vector drawn via hand and Wacom tablet I then made several copy's and used alien skin eye candy 6 plugin for some of the work. The original vector was made for a customer they got what they requested, so had some time on my hands so wanted to experiment to see what I could do with and with out the use of the alien skin eye candy plugin.
