I also tried with Brush firstly, but got a message that there are two many objects or something like that.

If there is that limit, how to fill for example a rectangle with irregular shapes and forms? Maybe create five different brushes and that gives an irregular summary? Anyway that does not sound some fast way

These were the spots I created.



Made a brush.
Applied them to a line drawn with the 'Freehand Tool'.
Adjusted the spacing and the offset direction.
Adjusted the thickness of the line.

Yes it takes a bit of time, but I got the desired result.

For me was similiar but so probably I did too lot of shapes that got that message trying to create brush from it.



In the before sponge challenge did differently, because there was a picture with the "noise" so did a Bitmap tracer, after it was slightly dense so put two copy of them on each other and substracted the vectors.

Maybe once I will give a try of some modified version of "camouflage pattern" method which Bob described last month on XaraXone, so starting from Fractal plasma transparency, bitmap tracing it, and after combining with add or substract, depending how dense the irregular points should be. But this is just and idea

Frank just a theoretical question - sure you heard about these small .exe-s like SPRAY, LSVG on http://xaraxtv.at.tut.by, which were wrote for Xara but so like a third party free tools, would be allowed to use them in these Xara challenges or rather not?

Anyway good would be if Xara as itself would contain them..
