A great tutorial, Rik. Everyones' examples show that you are a fine tutor.

Thanks for Your compliment! But I'm sure not an expert in Xara. True is, I practice over 20 years vector drawings. I'm an old school graphic designer who learned the analog techniques, that is helpfull for my digital desings.

To work with Xara is realy fun for me. So I try to do all the thinks i made before in AI and/or Corel/Inkscape/SerifDraw. Xara is for me an other exelent tool for my compositions.
But now it's my preferred tool for drawing with vectors.

I hope I'd allways time to share my works and experience with you!

Thanks also from me for the tutorial - always learning something new. Here's my attempt and a variant. I used the mould tool to skew the perspective of lower one.

    That's excellent, Jon.
Though, I'm not familiar with that brand of beer!

Rik - thanks. It's a very exclusive beer for old rockers

Big Frank - Yep, one of many groups from that era. If pushed, I would say Rory Gallagher is my favourite, but it goes in phases with me. I've got an extremely broad musical taste, something I attribute to years of listening to John Peel (radio DJ with eclectic play list, now sadly passed away, as have of course, Rory and Phil).

Apologies in advanced if this has been discussed elsewhere, but is there, or should there be a relationship between the quick-shape size (figure 28 in the tutorial) and the selection size of the shape? Both are using the same unit of measurement (px), but the values don't match (see attached file). I'm using P&GD9.

the same star isn't always the same height and width depending on its rotation

That's a Cool Top to put on a cool bottle of beer.

Don't forget to write and tell us what sort of beer they sell, when you get there!
