Steve, a lot of Xara users seem to keep open multiple Xara documents at a time, so when Xara opens multiple documents they don't have a clue what file the message is regarding.
I often wonder whether keeping multiple documents open contributes to the resource issues some experience and the occasional file corruption that sometimes crops up.
When working in just about any software I try and focus on one project at a time and close down files I'm not actively changing - it helps avoid accidental mistakes and consumes fewer resources on the machine.
I'm astonished, that how you work, is how you think that everyone else should work.
May I politely ask, "Why Xara allow multiple files to be open at the same time?"
You may want to concentrate on one project at a time and that's great. But, that's you.
Not me.
All I'm asking is that a message comes up - the message should be able to tell me which file name it is.
I wouldn't tell you how you should work, and I'm asking for the same respect.

Rik, you can work how you wish - nobody is telling you how to work.
It would be great if Xara identified the file in the error and they should.
Even if they did identify the file, it wouldn't mitigate the dangers and downsides of keeping multiple files open when working, but that's your choice.
I'm surprised you read so much into three words, RikI'm astonished, that how you work, is how you think that everyone else should work.
i'm not
odd that isnt it
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
They're going to kill me anyway and I'd love to die the way I lived:
Avoiding Manual Labour.
