    Default Side-Slider Transition

    Hi,

With help from multiple folks I have success in completing a simple one-page web site (www.hoytniva.com). Is there an example of code that someone is aware of to slide left or right to other pages of your site? Similar to this / http://www.chevrolet.com/new-2014-co...pecs_colorizer

    Thanks for any insight.

    Hey Acorn,

Like that one a lot of that one got me thinking of another web site I'm working on. I know the Chevrolet example I provided seems pretty basic vs. a page turner but if you come across a side-slider solution, whenever, please pass it along.

    Thanks for your time.

    Have a look at http://wowslider.com/

The way it works is you create the slide show, then publish the slide show to a folder. The folder will contain an index.html file and two folders, data and engine.

In Xara create a placeholder rectangle the same size as the slider. Open the index.html file in wordpad or a text editor, and copy the portion of the head section that is remarked and paste it into the placeholder Replace with (Head) area. Then do the same for the body portion. (Website Properties > Placeholder> Replace with Html Code.

Publish the page to the same folder and replace the index.html file.

Now preview the page in Xara.

When you publish your site to the server, you will need to FTP the data and engine folders to the root directory.

I used a similar product Visual Slideshow to create this slide show www.Custom-Stereograms.com
