Save as older Webdesigner version?

Hi,
I upgrade to WebDesigner MX 9 but help a friend who bought version 7 or 8.
Is there anyway to save the website in a previous format so I'm sure that he will be able to open the documents?
I'm not sure whether he wants to invest in an upgrade.

The idea is that I still can help him on his files while I'm using the latest version, but not him.

Any trick?

Only if you have the earlier version installed on your PC.
But your friend can still open doc created in v8, he will get a warning that the file was created in a later version and any features that are unique to v8 will not be available, other than this everything will be fine.

I noticed that in a VM where I just reinstalled version 8.
You're right, as long as I don't use specific v9 templates/gadgets, it should be fine and we will be able to edit the same project back and forth.
