    Hmm. Very odd. When I click the "Download" link on the right I get a zip file with the font, nothing more. I've always used Dafont and I've never had any installers, just zip files containing the selected font(s).

    Same here. The grey download button at that link gives me sierra_madre.zip.
    Inside the .zip are 5 files. 4 true type fonts and 1 license text file.

    But I suspect that because I'm pretty sure Frank uses AdBlock for Chrome (as do I), we didn't get tricked by this on the page:

    That's interesting. For some reason I have lots of trouble,I can't get the font itself it only wants to make me use some kind of font installer which is full of junk. I used to not have that problem bet noe-a-days I run into that a lot and not just from dafont either, not all font sites but a lot of them seem to have adopted that crappy method.
