How to create this text effect?

Your logo is very small but just looking at it it was done using the Blend Tool. Look at the help files on this subject and try starting with a rectangle inside a larger rectangle.

Hi people. Can anyone help me achieving this type effect.

Basically I want the text to adjust according to the boundary of the shape. which you can see in the manually written text. I want it like that. Pressed from the center and wider from the sides.
I dont know what is it called so I could not search on google.
Please reply. Any reply will be appreciated.

Ok I found how to do that. IT might help someone.
Select your art, then go to : Effect> Warp > Bulge. Choose a negative value for bend. Adjust accordingly.
