Mockingbirds live about a decade and during that time
learn roughly 200 songs, many of which are sounds they
mimic from other birds, local animals and even electronic
devices such as car alarms. While it can be enjoyable to
listen to a mockingbird sing its repertoire, just not at
4am when they seem to sing the loudest.

What a lovely image thanks for sharing it.
You can take a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead!

The bird, its feathers, the pine needles and branch, ALL superbly done! I had a friend many years ago that would get out of bed in the early morning, still in his pajamas, get the garden hose, and try to chase the mocking birds away. LOL!

The comments are appreciated. Ron, one of our presidents had a mockingbird as a pet
and it's said it would sing him to sleep. (Probably wake him up too!)
