This is just a start to a large project. 12" x 16" acrylic on canvas. The entire eagle and scenery will eventually be done on either one very large canvas or a set of 3 as in a triptych style. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Hey, hi there, Soquili! How have you been? Yeah, I've been away for quite a while. Great to hear from you, and thanks, too, for the comments on this eagle study.

Paul is doing great and feeling pretty good and we have just embarked on a new venture with the raising of 2 week-old Nubian goat kids! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif They are so fun to watch play and will mainly be pets but also help with some of the blackberry brush on the property. I've been painting and doing other artwork and just enjoying the mild summer weather here. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Great to hear you and Paul are doing well. The Nubian goat kids, are very cute. I'm sure they are a pleasure to watch as they play. Several of my neighbors raise goats. I enjoy watching them. Don't have room or the time to give them the care they would need to raise them myself.

http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thanks Soquili -- yeah, the goat keeping thing is totally new for me and I've been gathering all the info I can about it and talking with people who raise them. They are surprisingly smart animals too.

Hi Risto! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thanks for taking a peek at the painting also, I appreciate that. But what's this new revelation about Montreal??!! "Where beating yourself with a garden hose is considered a hobby"???? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif hehehe ...It sounds like a very special place! hehehe http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif It must be the squirrels.........
