I did try that, interesting enough when moved off the page, no problem, tried it in a new layer that opened with mouse click, still happened, very odd and first time I see anything like this
<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="https://maps.google.com/maps?q=37.988003,-105.767452&num=1&t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8 &ll=37.98854,-105.767269&spn=0.00148,0.00228&z=18&ou tput=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="https://maps.google.com/maps?q=37.988003,-105.767452&num=1&t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8 &ll=37.98854,-105.767269&spn=0.00148,0.00228&z=18&so urce=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small></div>
Can't get your iframe code to work, it just comes up with not being allowed in an iframe. However using the url's in your script above I can create a placeholder which works and doesn't interfere with any dropdown menus. I'd delete your original iframe and try a new one.
