    @Frank,

    Now, remembering that glyphs in a typeface have only one color, and the negative space is merely space, to do Bill as a drawing and to do it with sensitivity, I'm attaching three screening variations from Rik's photos. One's a stochastic screen, another is a poster edges-type screen, and the last is just Thresholding. I think these might to be of larger resolution to give you more resource to draw over, no?

    If I'm even close with any of these three, if there is enough B&W information in any of these to do a stylized drawing, you direct me if you need more detail, okay?

    I'm very pleased that this project has a direction again.

    Thanks, Frank,

    not enough resolution in any of them gary but many thanks anyway for the offer
    i found what i needed in another photo
    bill is now immortalised in his own font
    if everybody agrees i'll leave that glyph in there as "finished"
    however, i may add another as determined by time and motivation

    thanks for the feedback larry
    if its not too much trouble itd be good to hear from some other people
    if nobody like the direction the font is taking
    im pretty much wasting my time
    mind you i like it so even if the general feeling is negative id still keep it
