    I went along and traced, my part of the horse.
    And I am also not surprised at the decision not to do this as a font.

    My opinion is to forget any and all images.

    It's a font, we're trying to creat.

    So, it should be just that. A Font.
    A pure and simple font.
    A distinguishable font that stands out, but not so that you wouldn't use it.
    A font that I could use in a document, or for a logo I might design.

    @Rik—

    I agree with your post, and this sort of goes back to what I'd mentioned: Native American tapestry patterns could be terrific for bordars in documents, and it could also be used as Charityware if we stipulate it.

    Again, I'm up for compiling the font: I just need direction and art from members who are willing to give this a go again once a consensus has been agreed upon.

    imo a decorative or picture font will linger in the basement of people's font collections
    i'm up for text font that'll be used

    It's going to be much harder to choreograph, Frank, because it has to be a collaborative effort.

    I'll tell you what, though: I have two typeface fonts I've never finished, and they have nothing to do with the Native American Art or Spirit, but if you folks would like to see these WIPs, I'll post thumbnails, and perhaps logistically someone such as Frances can envision how all of us can pull together and finish the font, in Bill's name.

    What say?

    I agree with Frank on this.
    @Gare I'd like to see the thumbnails of the fonts. That might give us something to banter around.
