I have learned to make interactive pdf in indesign. I made an email form and tried to use it in web designer and nothing works. Is there a way to create your own form and use the mailto: command?

What product are you using? You have not listed one in your profile.
You can add a Link to a web address or e-mail address. And use the Underline Links option because I don't think Xara changes the link color.
