Minimise, Maximise and Close Buttons

Hi,

Have been using Xara products for years and currently on Photo and Graphic Designer V7.

All fine until today, when something strange happened.

Normally, I have the three windows icons in the top right (minimise, maximise and close) and these normally operate on the whole of the Xara window. (If I minimise, then Xara minimises to the task bar and I see my desktop etc.)

However, today, if I click on minimise, then the drawing (within Xara) minimises, and I'm left with the Xara window but no buttons to minimise, maximise or close the whole window .... it's just there and the only way I can see behind it is to drag the sides in or use FILE / EXIT to close the programme.

Did I change something without realising it?

I think if you go to the Window menu and uncheck Full Screen things will return to normal.

This happened to me a week or so ago and it made me crazy.

Tried having the Full Screen checked and unchecked, but it makes no difference.

Hmm, this sounds exactly what was happening to me. But when I opted out of Full Screen everything returned to normal.

Check back and see if someone else has an answer to this.

Try pressing the number '8' on your numeric keypad.

Keypad 8 toggles Full Screen on and off, but it doesn't solve the problem.

CTRL 8 doesn't seem to do anything.

It's really odd ....

Hi Colin, can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? And if you close and restart the program does this clear the problem? if so can you recreate the issue?

sledger - I have opted for the Classic Keys in the customize keyboard shortcuts menu.
