Glow effect

Hello,

how can I make a good looking glow effect? I can make only this and I dont like it.

I take it your doing it through the effect menu - Stylize - Outer Glow? If you are change your Mode to Screen - Opacity=75% - Blur to 2 px (Default settings) and click preview before clicking OK. Have a play at the settings if you still don't like try using the Drop Shadow and play about with the Offset's and if you still don't like the the Blend Tool would be your best alternative with added Gaussian Blur to finish. Come back if you need any more help.
