In my previous drawing involving eyes I wasn't happy with the look of the iris. For this drawing I took a different approach and I think the iris looks more realistic.

Hey, I just had a idea! How about eyeball salt & pepper shakers??? They could be little ones so a pair could be at each place setting. Dinner guests could have fun playing with them while waiting for the grub to be served.

Very nice eyeballs Ross. I like your idea about the eyeball salt and pepper shakers. How do you make the pattern for the Iris?

Nice eyeballs .... I'm afraid, though, that with eyeball shakers , the dinner would actually *BE* grubs ;-)

Of course those don't look quite like the eyeballs of many computer users here I'm sure ... a few blood vessels from too lengthy a time on the comp might be appropriate ... (hint, hint)

David - What are you talking about? Have you been working too hard lately?

Oh and here's another idea: You know those fuzzy dice * cool * folks hang from their car mirrors? - Well, how about a pair of shiny eyeballs? Even more cool eh?

Great eyeballs in the morning, mon! Love the idea of the Eyeballs S&P shakers. Do up a set and put them in the New S&P shaker thread. Would you make one very pale (salt) and one very dark (pepper)?

Here is an example of Eyes made easy. I used my Glass Eye Brush (available in The XaraXone Shareware Page ;-)

There is also an old eyeball looking through a keyhole tutorial in the November 1996 Xara Tutorials

I did this one a couple of year ago, in CX. I should improve on the iris bit, but I'm too lazy to do it now.

Klaus - it was your eyeball that inspired me, although I had last seen it a few weeks previous to my effort. In drawing mine I should have had a closer look at yours. I really like how the white of your's looks translucent whereas mine looks quite ceramic.

Gary - Your gel eyes are looking good! Again the translucency of the eyeballs really is effective. I will create some eyeball shakers and post them to your shaker thread.
