Default Extracting photo using Color Select

I use Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 2013's Color Select feature to remove the background (white) of a picture and extract the main image so I can superimpose it to another picture.

(Picture enclosed, color select is perfect because it removes all the white background around and inside the screen like image I need to isolate)

I applied the Color Select, it removes the background, isolates the image but that's where the problem starts.

The isolated image will not be save or can not be exported and causes an error if it is cut, saved or unclipped from the group.

    Please help.

    Thank you

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Try this. Right click on the image and select Create Bitmap Copy. Use the True Color + Alpha setting.

    Does this work?

    Welcome to TG,
Have you tried to flattern the clipped photo group at first after using color select/erase tool ( See attached ) please.
and then you can export your new PNG image.
It works fine by me, no problem at all.
    Bset regards

    Thank you for the replies.

Black Panther's Option #2 worked fabulously well.

    Thanks again!
