Default New Stained glass window - Butterfly motif

I've done another stained glass piece, this time a buttery motif with copper foil caming.

The glass piece is really well done! I feel the frame is a bit off because its wood texture seems too blurred compared to that of the glass.

Really nice Frances....I think the wood frame looks good actually....we have something around here that's quite similar looking to your frame.

I guess this is the finished butterfly from the 'what are we working on now' thread?

I like the frame, it works well with the glass, but I understand where Boy is coming from. I'm wondering if the lack of contrast in the texture is the real culprit.

I really like it Frances. Sorry but I just don't see the problem at least not yet. I think it's a beautiful piece of work.

Class work Frances. I love the lead-work, or should it be copper-work? The joints are perfect and glass texture is really good. Yes, a tutorial would surely be most welcome.

Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments I'll look at doing a tutorial soon, but I have a job for a client I've got to put first.
