why does my page look different in Preview?

Why does my page look fine in xara (when I'm creating) but then when I go to preview the page, the font is 3 times bigger, pictures, text are cut off the edge and the whole page just looks wrong. why does it do this and can I make it stop? It's so frustrating and annoying.

Thanks for the tutorial, however I do know how to attach an image to a forum post. What I didn't understand was this: Xara Web Designer file (*.web) and what THAT was specifically.

how about I just take a screenshot of both pages, the one that looks fine in the creator, and the second one in preview thats messed up, and show you that. will that work?

The .web file is your Xara file - the one you open with Web Designer.

hi click the block of text then click the names gallery icon - looks like a parcel tag - type htmlblocktext then ADD then close then do it for any other text then preview - should be ok then

The problem is you have resize those text blocks using the selection tool rather than the text tool.
This has changed the aspect ratio of the text which while fine in Xara Web Designer is not fine in preview due to the fact that browsers cannot display squashed, stretched or otherwise resized text.

In Designer Pro this is fixed using the text tool and resetting the aspect ratio to 100% (yours is currently 63.11%)
In Web Designer you will need to copy the text to notepad, deleted your text areas in Web Designer then recreate them again but remember to resize the text using the text tool sizing (swipe text and chose the size from the drop down on the info bar)
