My first PI image...

Now, a question: if you use this particle
animation, can you use normal picture as
a background?

When I tried to generate particle animation,
it only saved those parts of picture where
particles were, not full picture.

Can you explain a bit more about what you're trying to do? I don't see any particles in your image. You should be able to apply animated particles to any image. But if you have active objects in the image which are not merged with the base image, the particles will be applied to the active object(s) only.

Uh, I discarded the particle output, because
those files contained only the particle effect,
not the picture. Probably my mistake, I will
investigate further. I have had PI less than
two days, so I might need to find out time to
read the (gasp) manual...
