    Default Batch resize

Hello there, new member to the forums here, can anyone tell me if there is some way (preferably some simple way) to batch resize a series of images ?

... and if there isn't, is there anyone at Xara I can contact to suggest this would be REALLY USEFUL and should be provided as a tool which allows you to select multiple files (Jpeg, Raw(NEF), etc) and have them resized in one go.

C'mon folks it's a Graphics and image suite, how come you haven't included this as a standard (easy to use) feature in every release.

    Cheers

    Default Re: Batch resize

It's actually a Vector illustration application, not a raster application (Like photoshop)

Having said that, where there's a will there's a way right

What I have done in the past is to import all images I want to resize down, use the alignment tool to centre them, then from the info bar chose a new width (aspect locked) and then export as HTML.
The resized images will be exported to the index_htm_files folder.
Only requirement is that your imported images must be a common size to start with.

If this isn't suitable, then use a raster editor (IrfanView is free and can batch resize)
