    Default New Stereograms

I just finished 46 new stereograms for our publisher in Japan. We have a new editor this year and she wanted us to do "scenic" stereograms with an around the world theme. A scenic stereogram is where we hide the stereogram in a photo and try to make it look as much a part of the photo as possible.

Attached on three of my favorites.

I used BigStock for a lot of the photos. A good and affordable resource for stock photos.

I like the dolphins the best. I found these ones were harder to bring into focus for me, but once I did they looked good.

Very good - the first was definitely the hardest to get going, but maybe that's because it was the first one I tried - at first I couldn't get it to happen, then I moved on to the second - that worked, as did the third and then the first worked fine.

It's definitely harder than the traditional ones. I felt distinctly uncomfortable seeing the jet flying overhead.

The images will be printed 10" x 8" which does make them easier to see. But when you are looking at the stereogram, your eyes want to pull in the surrounding non-stereogram portion which creates a conflict and makes it harder to work the image.

Curiously, our new editor, has trouble seeing these kinds of images herself, so this could be a very interesting issue, #19 in the magazine series.

I found these very difficult to do and not very clear.
Maybe to do with the size?!

I especially like the second one. Magical quality to that one.

May not be your new glasses Steve. I also found them much harder to see. 1 being the most difficult and 2 the easiest. 3 so, so.

These are great Gary. I also found the 1st one the hardest to get into focus, took me almost 5 minutes but once in focus they all came rather easily. These are very interesting theme-wise and extremely well done.

    Thank you for sharing.

Very creative, Gary. I must be different because I found them all quite easy to focus on.
