I didn't realize my father was 100 years old. I visited him at a care center. They said he had cancer. I left a few images to let him know I was there. Well, if he is ever awake again. His condition is terminal, and probably won't last the month.

I think 100 in itself is terminal. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your dad Rich. Congratulations to your dad for being a centurion. My dad only made it to 93.

My father wanted to live forever until he was only able to watch TV. My mother was saved after having a massive heart attack. She didn't have much of a life after that. The family made the decision without my presence. I don't know if my older brother is alive. I heard his wife had a stroke and was living with her daughter. I heard this from the nurse caring for my farther. I cannot say we have a close family.

My grandfather was 93 although he had complications from mustard gas and shell shock.

The doctors gave me three months.

You cannot believe everything.

I have severe COPD and am turning 69 this year...and just wonder if this will be my last one..

Jim,

It has been my last one for the last ten years. I inherited horrible blood. Well, about 50% is the right stuff. I heard my younger brother had major surgery. I heard it form the nurse where my father is staying. No idea about my older brother. I did hear his wife had a stroke. She never considered me as part of her family. My father was up when I visited him last. No idea what he said. I guess he knew it was me. After a couple of minutes, he nodded off.
