Hi folks,
These images were done with P7 with some help from P6 and photoshop. Not strictly Painter work but things are looking pretty quiet around here. I am about to give up on Painter 7's water color brushes, they are driving me nuts. No matter how much I tweek I can't get what I want.

Monastic Bat, very nice.

What features of Painter 7 did you use on these that are not in Painter 6 or were easier to do in 7? I'm curious about Painter 7 but have not upgraded due to the problems I've been reading with the watercolors, etc. I'll consider it when Corel releases some fixes.

Hi Eky
Both pics started out as photos I took on a recent trip trip Northern California.
Both images were started in Painter7. I did a lot of drawing then started using P7 Water Color brushes to lay in the color. I got tired of trying to get the brushes adjusted so I switched to Photoshop, then did some adjustments with P6 Water Color brushes. By this time I was ready to put this computer in the Dish Washer and forget it. I am about to give up on P7 Water Color. As I have said before, I wish Corel had made a few brushes that worked well instead of a lot of brushes that require so much tweeking.

Erik,
Thanks for the kind words. I think the whole world has slowed down. I am having a hell of a time keeping focused. I guess I am not alone.

Nice work Greg

I am painting a mural for a friend at the moment and my airbrush has had a hissy,so I am using brushes and lets just say I am bit rusty.Anyway I was painting using a dry brush effect for some mountains to fix some nasty blobs of color from the airbrush and for a split second I thought I could fix it all by using edit undo or the history palette...hahahaaaa

Cheers

Sounds like you have the bug pretty bad. Don't hit the Delete key.

Take care.
