The Copeland Cipher 36 is an original font
designed using the free online tools available at
FontStruct.com. The code is composed of A-Z and 0-9,
36 letters and numbers. In addition, four uncoded
punctuation mark are available; these show as white
marks against a black background. These marks are:
period, comma, question mark, and exclamation.

The cipher font was made for coding geocaching
clues directing geocachers to GPS locations
where caches are hidden, but can be used in any
fun situation where a bit of mystery is involved.
The cipher font is a .ttf file and after placing in
the proper FONT folder, becomes available for use
by any word processing software installed on your
computer including Xara.
Coded messages are first typed in a readable font such
as Arial. All the typed words are then selected. While selected,
switch the font name to Copeland Cipher 36 and your message
will become coded automatically.
To read a coded message, do the opposite.
The graphic shown has a coded Christmas
limerick (it's family friendly) that can be
decoded using the Key. The pattern of
lines, single and double, surrounding each
letter/number is the clue to decoding words.
