http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Well, that's one thing that ya kinda have ta be a bit careful of John....and especially around any mil bases, curious people (especially when using a large telescope -- there have been reports of astronomers being accused of setting up "canons" in the neighborhood!) I've had a few cops come up to see what I was doing -- everyone is really cool and nice when you give em a look through the scope though --- but it's best if it's not aimed at a house unless it's your own. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Also critters in the night can give ya a spook or two now and then. (These new posts have lots of impact with your Xara work additions too btw http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)
I've found at times I've been joined during a late observing session by a neighbor's cat...sneaking up quietly while my eye was to the telescope eyepiece wondering about what odd inhabitants might be on other worlds (something more odd than humans at least http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif) and nearly jumped outta my skin when the cat brushed up against my leg. I've seen a lot of raccoons too, and there's been an occasional dog show up snuffling along in the dark in a creepy manner.... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
