http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thumbs up John! These are beauties and would also be really great to add to other landscapes you create, they have just the right amount of details to look right/natural with other landscapes, etc. Sometimes too sharp an image added in would just look "fake" imo. I see things like that in some films, and we just don't see sharp details of the moon naked eye.
We've had sooooo much rain/fog and cloudy weather here it's nice to see someone having clear skies. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

P.S. Does anyone here have fireflies where they live? That's an element of summer evenings I wish we had here on the west coast. I really loved seeing them in evenings when I lived in NY, NC, and FL.

I luck out tonight... I have the sunset at 8:21 and full moon rsing at 8:50. Only about 3 more hours...

No rain here for about a week now... should not be much rain past June until October... I haven't seen fireflies or frogs since I moved out west. I remember catching loads of both when I was a kid.

http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thanks Mike! Here's another very worth-your-while site to check out = "Sky and Telescope" magazine articles on digital sky photography, http://skyandtelescope.com/howto/imaging/default.asp also plenty of tips on shooting for the moon, etc. and you can wander around their site and also find the night and months star and planetary charts so you can identify those "bright stars". Observing Highlights: http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/highlights/ I have a subscription with this magazine and also one titled "Astronomy" which you can sometimes find on the mag racks in bookstores -- jaw-dropping awesome photos in both mags, loads of interesting info too on all things space. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
