For your replies, I would never have dreamt that I could do a portrait - it was Vladymir's tutorial that convinced me to 'have a go'.

I used a photo - I have attached that so you can see the original. I used a bit of 'artistic licence' with the hair but felt that it captured the essence of the original.

Yes Gary this is my eldest grandaughter Eloise who will be 4 next week. I will have to do the other 2 as well now.

    Hi Christine,

You are an artist!! Wonderful portrait. As others have already stated, you have captured the flesh tones magnificently. Lovely portrait of a lovely young lady.

Christine, I'm glad if my tutorial help you. But I think previously it is your talent and skills.
I like this excellent image. It is very simple and very emotional. She is look like Alice in Wonderland of Lewis Carroll.
    Best regards.

    ... as a button!

Fantastic work on the skin and hair! The freckles enhance the personality.

AND that is your FIRST attempt?! I can't wait what your SECOND attempt will look like!

Christine, a lot of love went in to that illustration, - and it shows!

    Beautiful!
