Default The 2012 Mantle for Holiday Cards

We didn't come to any general consensus earlier, but I feel that:

    1. This is the thread to put your holiday cards. You can use the image I'll describe later, or create your own. Please keep them in good spirit, taste, and cheer, adding a positive spirit to the forum, because the last thing I want to do is moderate a post.

    2. There's not a lot of sense in making a collaborative card, so individual posts are much appreciated to show the Internet that TalkGraphics is a leader in showcasing extraordinary talent. If you want to contribute to decorating a virtual tree this season, click here!

Let's see if anyone/everyone can live with this heavily filtered photo to serve as a backdrop for your holiday cards.

I put stygg's in this one, and the photo is an attachment.

Let me know if this will do. If not, I'll take another photo, but the One Hour developing place is over a mile away, so it'll take time and petrol.

Okay, I'm not Santa, Stygg, but I do realize that the mantle image I posted didn't have enough fireplace brick area, so I extended it.

And be careful what you wish for.

Folks, the extended mantle image is attached here, and if you can't read Stygg's note, he wants Kris Kringle to attempt to stuff a BMW into the sock.

You might want to print a very large version of the file, Stygg.

I love the card and the sock! Just to let you know I've also started a thread down in the Fonts & Typography Forum for Holiday Typography Fun! where members can post a holiday greeting with the emphasis on typography!

This month's tutorial spoke of adding shadows, Stygg. So where is the shadow for the pin?

    P.S. Nice snowman!
