If you're getting all Scottish, in your post, then the title of the thread is wrong.
It should be 'See you, pal'.

Of, course. It needs to be said in a Scottish accent, to get the full effect!

In 2003 I was obsessed with a similar theme to yours and produced a series of these images, all in Xara. I thought it was my ticket into the art gallery world.

(Sadly, it was not).
