Problem making spinning logo in Xara 3d/Xara Xtreme

Hi all,
I am new to Xara. I like to try every possible way of doing something before looking for help. With that being said, I need help. I made this symbol for my band using Adobe Photoshop. I am trying to build a 3d spinning symbol out of it for out new website. After loading the PNG from photoshop into Xara Xtreme, I used the pen tool and went around it. I am having trouble cropping out the holes in the middle of the symbol. Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about doing this? I plan on removing the texture from the gif before finalizing. Thank you for your help.

Welcome to TalkGraphics

Select one of the holes, then select the main part of the logo, and from the Arrange menu, select Combine Shapes > Subtract Shapes.

Repeat this step with the other 3 hole areas.
