A high-res JPEG sounds OK to me Gare, in fact better. No one would need the xar file unless they plan on changing things. Just my opinion of course

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Do we have a consensus on a rather large PNG or JPEG?

Here we go: attached, a PNG at 300 ppi. If you zoom in, you'll have a fairly decent view of Bill in the snowflake.
Apologies in advance: because no one including myself gave consideration to final image resolution, one or two of the image areas might be less-than-perfect in focus. I went as large as I could without compromising the overall design.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
My Best,
Gary
Thanks Gare, good job. I went 8000% and it was still fairly clear I could make out Bill on the star very well even at that magnification.

Thanks for including the doggie Gary. The tree looks wonderful and thanks to all who took part.

You're quite welcome, all.
I'm glad we could have this get-together, thanks to TalkGraphics.

I added the picture to my screensaver/wallpaper, so, now every so often I get to see the delightful tree again. I must say that the detail on the ornaments is amazing.
