actually the whole thing appears to work a lot more smoothly in Chrome than FireFox, without the issues with in-browser PDF readers the Fox click-to-play has, although it still does not solve Gary's problem with the latest Flash version....

Just got this response in the Adobe forum:

This is a known bug in Protected Mode for Firefox on Windows, and is currently open and assigned to a developer.

We'll post a fix to the Flash Player Beta Channel (http://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayerbeta) as soon as one becomes available.
