    Default create seamless image

    Hello guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew what to do about this issue:

Im using : Xara photo and graphic designer 2013.

I have created a simple178px x 178px image to use as a repeating image for a website background. The website is not a xara website. It was done in xhtml.

My problem: when I place the image as a repeating background I get this horrible seam that makes them look like bathroom tiles. I did not put a border on the image.

Question: How do i get rid of this seam in Xara photo and graphic designer 2013?

Use even pixel amounts and make sure that your tile image is located on the page with even pixel amounts. What I am saying is if your image is 178.3px or 178.8px you are going to get a light outline around the image.

Also, if your image is darker, place a similar color rectangle behind the tiling image. Select the tile image but not the dark rectangle and export. This will help as well.

You might find this tutorial on the Xara Xone site useful:
