Finally back to doing some graphics again. This illustration shows a pair of P40's from the 23rd Fighter Group, Flying Tigers, Burma 1942. The four planes are 100% vector and the background is a mix of vector and raster.

Awesome work Gray. Your planes are always enjoyable to see. Is the explosion all vector or just the plane parts?

Great work once again Gray, love those P-40's, the Zero hit is great. I'm currently working on a BF-109 for a friend as time permits

He's back.
Great rendering and really excellent effect on the plane bursting into fire.

Really talented rendering, but the composition doesn't grab me like it usually does. :-(
Hi gray!
You draw the same things I like to draw - My medium is pencil and ink. I'm trying to get the Xara/Intuos thing down. Any chance you could throw a .xar file of one of your drawings for me to analyze? Sorry if it's not cool to ask such things, but I really want to look at a professionals' Xara breakdown. Thanks!
Hi ACE,
I just dabble in graphics as a way to spend some spare time. My way of wasting a little winter time.
It just takes a little time to grasp working in vectors. There are some great tuts on the site here.
I'll go dig up an old file and post it for you to pick apart.
Do you post your pen and ink work at a site? I'd like to see it.
I'll go looking and post that file later today.
